To add a new field boundary to an account:
From the left side navigation bar, select Fields then Fields List.
Select Fields Management then Add field manually.
Navigate to the field you would like to add on the map. Select Draw a contour to start drawing your shape.
Click around the outside of the field boundary. Click the first dot to close the shape when you are finished with the outer boundary. You can see the size of the boundary in the upper right corner of the map when you are finished.
Select the Field group you want this field to belong to in the upper right. Fill in the field name. You have the option to fill in an additional name, this is commonly used to store legal land location.
You can fill in the tillable acres; this number is considered the seeded acres for that field. If you do not fill in tillable acres, the system will use the area listed in the top right of the map. This number is known as the mappable acres and will always correspond to the size of the boundary of the field.
If you make a mistake when drawing a shape, you can delete you last dot by using the delete key or trash can highlighted below.
To cut out an area inside the boundary of the field, hold down the Alt button and click around the area you want to remove. Again, click on the first dot to close the shape.
Use Add one more part to add an additional shape to the same field. This can be used when a field is split by a creek or road.
When finished, scroll down and select Create field on the bottom right.
