Follow the steps above to create a new warehouse. Warehouses are storage locations that can be linked to fields, users and machines. You can create an unlimited amount of warehouses, this will depend how your inventory is stored. Warehouses must be created before adding a goods receipt.
**Tip: It is recommended to link a warehouse to a field group as a default warehouse for that field group. If there is a default warehouse, the system will know to pull inventory from that warehouse any time there is an agro operation where relevant inventory items are being applied. If location of inventory tracking is not a high priority, only one warehouse is necessary.
This can be done in WMS settings and the Warehouse settings:
Step 1: WMS Settings
To access WMS settings, click on the gear in the top right (1), then click anywhere in the menu preview to access the larger settings menu.
Find WMS settings near the bottom of the menu.
Ensure you have Automatic goods issue toggled on, and Set from warehouse for goods issues set to field group for both the web and mobile app.
Step 2: Warehouse Settings
Ensure your warehouse is linked to the field group.
