Cropwise Operations has 3 ways that area of a field can be defined:
Tillable area: the area that is being cropped in that current season. This is the number that will be used through the system; in areas such as reports, the mobile app, and yield calculations.
Note: When entering an Agro operation, the completed area has to be equal to or less than the Tillable area. If you have a certain operation that is often higher than the tillable area (lots of overlap), please reach out for support we can assist you in finding a solution to this.
Legal area: the official area owned/rented by the user. The user can manually indicate this amount.
Mappable area: the area of the field according to the boundary of the field. This can only be edited by Changing and Editing Boundaries.
Note: Field boundaries are most accurate when the Mappable area and Tillable area are as close as possible.
